Rebecca M. Balinskas

Mrs. Balinskas’ practice focuses on state and local tax controversies at the audit, administrative, and judicial levels. Her practice encompasses matters regarding sales and use tax, property tax, franchise and income tax, gross receipts tax, insurance tax, and telecommunications tax, among others.

Mrs. Balinskas has written and spoken on various state and local tax issues. In addition, she is a Co-editor of the firm’s newsletter State + Local Tax Insights.

Mrs. Balinskas obtained her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor of the St. John’s Law Review. Mrs. Balinskas received her B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University, Barnard College.
