Almost a year has passed since the 2017 tax reform. What is its impact, and did it achieve the goals of Congress? Our panel will discuss how the tax reform has changed taxpayers’ behavior and explore who the true winners and losers of this tax reform are. Our discussion will involve a series of Q&As with a focus on individuals, as well as the following business sectors: (a) real estate and REITs, (b) multinational companies, (c) capital markets and financial services, and (d) private equity. The discussion is expected to be enjoyable and understandable for both tax and non-tax lawyers alike. No prior knowledge of tax law is required.
