Started in 2012, AABANY’s Trial Advocacy Program (TAP) provides participants with the chance to conduct their own opening statements, direct and cross-examinations, and closing statements, all while receiving personalized feedback from our experienced faculty members. Participants are assigned a partner and receive the course materials in advance of the program to prepare. TAP also includes morning and afternoon panels on effective trial advocacy featuring distinguished and experienced litigators. This year, TAP is honored to feature as its keynote speaker Judge Lorna G. Schofield of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
