John Vang is a Senior Appellate Counsel at the Center for Appellate Litigation—an appellate public defender office in Manhattan. Previously, he worked as a criminal defense attorney at the Bronx Defenders and a Staff Attorney in the Staff Attorneys Office of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. John is also a Co-Chair of the LGBT Committee of the Asian American Bar Association of New York. He’s a 2007 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and received his BA from Columbia University.
