This program will address the skills necessary for an in-house counsel to advance in the in-house legal profession, as well as the challenges of obtaining the necessary training or knowledge and finding a sponsor or mentor from internal or external sources. The panel will also discuss the importance of developing a career plan and taking on leadership roles to provide greater visibility, ways to pursue internal opportunities or determine when it is time to seek opportunities outside of the company, and finally, market trends and areas of current and future demand.
