Mariko S. Carpenter

Vice President, Strategic Community Alliances

Mariko S. Carpenter is the Vice President, Strategic Community Alliances at Nielsen. In this role, Mariko serves as a thought leader on Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) consumer data, sharing valuable insights to help brands, marketers and community leaders understand the impact and influence of Asian American Pacific Islanders in this country. Mariko brings to light the important trends and narrative behind the data on AAPI consumers in our increasingly multicultural, ever-changing digital world.

Prior to joining Nielsen, Mariko was the Consumer Marketing lead at Condé Nast, responsible for driving consumer revenue for three iconic brands: GQ, Bon Appétit and Golf Digest. She holds a BA in Asian Studies and French from Vassar College and MS in Marketing from New York University.
