Duane Morikawa is a Senior Vice President and Senior Counsel with Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (MUTB), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), one of the world’s largest and most diversified financial groups listed on the Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and New York stock exchanges. Duane provides counsel to the banking and trading groups, as well as the trust and custody services of MUTB. Duane is primarily involved with transactional matters; however, he is also involved in regulatory and other corporate matters. Duane has over twenty years of experience with domestic and foreign financial institutions. Prior to joining MUTB, he was a Director and Senior Counsel with Natixis.  Duane graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and earned a law degree from New York Law School. He is currently a co-chair of the Asian American Bar Association of New York In-House Counsel Committee.
